Verdy Shares Close-Up Look at the Upcoming Girls Don't Cry Apparel and Accessories Capsule
Featuring cozy hoodies, crewnecks, tees and more.
Verdy has unveiled a brand new lookbook that flaunts the forthcoming apparel and accessories collection for his Girls Don’t Cry label. This pops up shortly after the Tokyo-based designer held a special pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku and cooked up some delectable Girls Don’t Cry-branded dessert treats for the ultra-exclusive restaurant été.
Much like the brand’s past releases, this collection focuses cozy silhouettes that are graced with minimal-yet-striking branded graphic hits. Modeled here are a trio of hooded sweatshirts that come in warm brown, hot pink and a faded charcoal grey. All are branded with Girls Don’t Cry hits either emblazoned across the front or in smaller form on the left side chest and back. Other long sleeve items tossed into the mix include that of a baby blue crewneck sweaters that features tonal embroidered branding in addition to a soft pink long sleeve tee that dons the imprint’s butterfly logo slapped on in oversized fashion on the back.
On top of all that a white/black graphic tee that features a cupid-like character on the front — perhaps a nod to Valentine’s Day — as well as a PVC shoulder bag made alongside See You Yesterday sees its way into the collection.
Prices and a release date for the capsule are still unknown, but expect a launch to likely arrive within the coming weeks.
