Easy on Easy off Is the Theme for This New Vans Authentic Slip Model
The spiffy silhouette is set to release in black/white and burgundy/black colorways.

The Vans team has kept a busy agenda as of late in an effort to announce various new footwear releases, and now it’s sending in one more entry into our midst in the form of a fresh new hybrid sneaker: the Authentic Slip. Recently, the Anaheim-based skateboarding company announced its forthcoming Sk8-Hi collaboration with the Foo Fighters in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
As suggested by its namesake, this new spiffy silhouette is essentially an admixture of the classic Authentic and the Slip On models. Bereft of any laces, these kicks keep the natural aesthetic and shape of the former, but rid of the eyelets to bring about a more seamless look with easy on easy off functionality. Another detail to point out is that the uppers of these inaugural colorways stray away from the usual canvas constructions and instead opt to go with suede exteriors.
Both makeups of this release fall on the darker end of the spectrum; one being a classic black and white mix while the other sees through to a burgundy and black blend.
For parties who fancy these, you can find them launching via Vans Japan on January 16 for ¥7,000 (approx. $67 USD) each.
