Sugarhill SS21 Channels the Spirit of Vintage Rockabilly and Hippie Culture
Emphasizing bootcut jeans, frayed biker jackets and overalls.

Sugarhill has just shared its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The new lineup is inspired by the spirit of hippie culture and vintage rockabilly, following the Japanese label’s FW20 collection with designs that appear to be a little more distressed.
The assemblage features bootcut jeans, denim overalls, frayed leather biker jackets, long plaid shirts, cargo shorts, striped tees and field jackets, to mention a few. Leading the collection is the black leather rider jacket that sports a swathe of details like pockets, buttons, zippers and tassels. Each zipper comes with long leather strips that hang from the jacket, while intricate weaves and detailed paneling at the back round off the garment’s design. Other pieces like the oversized trench coat and lightly washed denim highlight the label’s affinity for modernizing old American styles while retaining significant elements of their original aesthetics.
