South2 West8 SS21 Is Here to Liven up Your Outdoor Essentials
Clashing patterns and weatherized fabrics inform the eclectic lineup.
South2 West8 is following its Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook with a set of imagery highlighting some of the brand’s latest outdoor styles. Spring/Summer 2021 isn’t as pared-down as the previous collection, but rather opts for clashing patterns and striking colors to brighten up the label’s latest offerings.
The collection features an eclectic mix of light layers like button-ups, water-resistant tracksuits, camo field jackets, graphic T-shirts, mesh trousers, vests, shorts and overalls. There’s also a handful of South2 West8’s signature silhouettes in the assemblage, such as the label’s 3-Layer Camo series. This season includes pink and black versions of the River Trek Jacket, Weather Effect Jacket and River Trek Over Vest, all of which are entirely waterproof and highly breathable. The pieces come with an intricate camo print inspired by Hokkaido’s scenic forests, complementing functional details like taped zippers and large pockets. Newer styles like the red and purple tie-dyed parka and oversized overalls have been added to the range as well. Other pieces like mesh fishing jackets, checkered shorts, patchwork camo chore coats, floral button-ups and mesh bucket hats round up the expansive range.
South2 West8’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is currently available on Nepenthes’ website, ranging from ¥10,000 – ¥69,000 JPY (approximately $96 – $925 USD).
