Latest Nike Air Max 95 Features the Colors of Tropical Fruit
Complete with a “Happy Pineapple” graphic on the tongue.
The newest Nike Air Max 95s are adding the sweet taste of the tropics to its portfolio. The latest rendition offers a pineapple flavor, giving the sneaker the nickname “Happy Pineapple”
The Nike shoe relies on a mostly neutral colorway so that the hints of tropical tones throughout the shoe are highlighted. A strip of golden orange is seen running along the side of the shoe, accompanied by a set of eyelets in a contrasting peach and aquamarine green. In the same aquamarine, a mini Swoosh can be seen perched at the heel. The emphasized colors take on a brighter rendition of the pineapple’s staple colors to further draw attention to the fruit theme. A comical, smiling pineapple graphic is visible at the tongue of the Air Max shoe, along with a set of noteworthy embroidered numbers, “94430” at the forefoot. A white midsole adds to the finishing touches of the shoe which includes lime green Volt Air units on top of a brown speckled outsole. The outsole greatly resembles that of the pineapple base, rounding out the main feature of the sneaker.
The shoe is expected to retail at $180 USD and is set to release soon at Nike and at select retailers.
In other Air Max 95 news, Nike will also be launching a Japanese street-themed pair.
