Nike is digging into its archives with a re-release of the Air Max 3, known these days as Air Max 90. The former name was once the official name, aptly given as the successor of the Air Max 2. Emphasizing its heritage, Nike has kept the silhouette’s original moniker while offering a recreation of one of its earliest colorways, “Hot Lime.”

The shoe features green and fluorescent lime accents that pop out from its white body. Starting at the top of the shoe is “NIKE” branding etched at the top of its satin tongue and at the rubber heel counter. Mesh fabrics appear at the collars and toebox, while smooth full-grain leather panels show up at the sidewalls — white at the upper quarters and green at the mudguards. Besides these details, vibrant “Hot Lime” accents at the Swoosh and Air sole unit round off the shoe’s retro-inspired design.

Priced at $140 USD, the Nike Air Max 3 “Hot Lime” is set to release January 25, 11 p.m. EST on Nike SNKRS.
