JBL is taking it back to the ’60s for its new 75th-anniversary integrated amplifier. Taking cues from both the JBL SA600 and SA660, the SA750 features Class G amplification technology for the best sound performance and efficiency.

The overall design transports home hi-fi enthusiasts back in time with its retro-inspired milled aluminum face and teak-wood veneer side panels. While the amp looks retro, the tech inside tells a different story, featuring high-resolution DAC, a switchable MM/MC phono input, support for UPnP wireless, full MQA file decoding, and compatibility with Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2.

Boasting 120W of power per channel into 8Ω ( 220W per channel into 4Ω), the SA750 operates as a Class A amplifier, and can switch power supplies depending on waveforms — the result is less distortion and more accurate sound detail.

“The SA750 combines the appeal of retro design with the most current room optimization and streaming technologies in the market,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy & Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “It’s the best of both worlds — past and present — and is already generating considerable excitement among audiophiles and enthusiasts to whom we’ve previewed it.”

Those wishing to add this to their home audio setup can expect it to drop in April of this year for a price of $3,000 USD.
