Casablanca Heads to the Race Tracks and Casinos of Monaco for FW21
Featuring a glimpse of the label’s upcoming New Balance collaboration.

Casablanca heads to Monaco for Fall/Winter 2021 to find its muses on the racetrack and at glamorous parties, by remembering the dreams of a bygone era.
Set against the backdrop of the French Riviera, the Charaf Tajer-led label takes inspiration from race cars, casinos and the architecture of the microstate, to showcase a collection that oozes both elegance and luxury. FW21 also marks the brand’s first venture into the world of womenswear, an offering that remains in keeping with Casablanca’s eclectic mix of striking designs and eye-catching patterns.
“We spent a lot of time working on the prints for this collection, and we put particular importance on tailoring and new shapes,” Tajer tells HYPEBEAST. “We’ve introduced a new monogram for this season too. It’s a bit more trippy than the first one, but it’s something I really love.”
A white and green laurel jacquard faux fur coat arguably sits as the stand-out outerwear piece from the collection, while a printed satin queen of cards quilted coat is equally as striking. The brand’s quintessential offering of silk shirts boast a selection of detailed graphics we’ve come to expect from the house, while traditional racing suits and tracksuits have been given a classic Casablanca twist.
On foot, the collection also offers a glimpse of the brand’s upcoming collaboration with New Balance. After linking up twice last year, the pair return for 2021 with a brand new silhouette that was also teased earlier today by the label’s art director Steve Grimes. Described by Tajer as “a new shape inspired by cars and Formula 1”, the sneaker boasts dubbed soles that creep onto the upper, alongside an oversized New Balance “N” logo. Three colorways have been teased, including white with orange and green, yellow with black and orange and a crisp all-white iteration.
Release details of Casablanca’s FW21 collection is yet to be announced, although its collaboration alongside New Balance is rumoured to be dropping next month. You can also view Casablanca’s FW21 presentation above.
