A Paul Walker-Owned BMW M1 AHG Studie Is Now Up for Auction
Just ten BMW M1s received the rare “Studie” package.
A rare BMW M1 AHG Studie that was once owned by Paul Walker and Roger Rodas’ AE Performance is landing on Bring a Trailer’s auction block.
Out of the 453 examples of the M1 produced, this is just one of ten that received a special build by BMW dealer AHG with its Studie package. This specific example sees roughly 4,200 miles on the dash, and is from 1980. The M1’s 3,453cc M88 inline-six engine’s stock 277 horsepower has also been brought up to 350 horsepower thanks to the help of AHG via engine and exhaust work.
Other features of the sportscar include a Procar-style body kit, a custom BMW tricolor livery, 16” three-piece BBS wheels, a ZF five-speed manual transaxle, and a limited-slip differential. With a current bid of $390,000 USD, the auction has just 10 days left over on Bring a Trailer.
