Balenciaga‘s footwear family has grown by another entry to kick off 2021, this time with a brand new variation of its signature Speed Trainer. While the new offering is essentially another all-black number, it arrives updated with a collection of new graphics that are embedded into its knitted/recycled upper.

For this pair, Demna Gvasalia opts to weave in imagery on the lateral sides near the ankle, as well as towards the front of the shoe just over the bridge of the foot. The former sees through to an unfinished “B” logo, while the latter prints out the moniker of the Spanish luxury house over a big and bold “10”, all of which are executed with bright white finishes.

Save for the all capitalized “Balenciaga” text hit that rests across the insoles, the rest of this Made-in-Italy installment from the technical upper to the molded sole unit to the debossed lower heel branding is presented in all-black fashion.

Interested in scooping up a pair? You’re sure in luck because these Speed Trainers are currently available for purchase via Balenciaga’s online store for a lofty $895 USD retail tag.
