Japanese label and wander has introduced its latest collaboration with British heritage label Barbour, seeing their two outdoor worlds collide. The performance-led collection comprises a full look of jackets, pants and hats, all using POLARTEC’s Alpha Direct lining making it waterproof, breathable and warm.

and wander has revisited Barbour’s extensive archive for this line. Keeping Barbour’s iconic corduroy collar intact, the silhouette of the Beaufort jacket largely remains unchanged — slight additions include and wander’s signature body pockets, a detachable hood and, reflective stitching and branding with its pants following suit. It has also revamped Barbour’s expedition hat which has not been released since 1976, so designs to the classic was kept minimal – a similar reflective stitching was used with removable POLARTEC ear flaps added for modernization.

The collection comes in black, yellow and khaki colorways and ensure the right performance protection for those dark and windy mountain hikes.

You can purchase the full collection via and wander’s webstore with jackets retailing at ¥88,000 (approximately $847 USD), pants ¥58,000 (approximately $558 USD) and hats ¥18,000 (approximately $173 USD).
