adidas Originals has offered an expressive take on its iconic Superstar. Featured are two colorways that sport wild paint splatters over “Core White” and “Core Black” foundations.

Both shoes have been decorated with a number of bright tones that pop from their monochromatic bases. The white version comes with a vibrant mix of blue, red, yellow and green tones. The colorful arrangements are applied over all of the shoe’s uppers, except its rubber shell toe, while adidas’ Trefoil logo at the tongue and heel as well as “SUPERSTAR” branding at the sidewalls are embellished in gold. In contrast, the “Core Black” iteration has a more understated look, with its paint splatters limited to just three palettes — red and two earth tones. Both colorways boast crisp white midsoles as finishing touches to the classic shoes.

Though no official release dates have been confirmed, adidas Originals’ painterly Superstars will be available soon on the label’s website for $90 USD.

In case you missed it, here’s a closer look at adidas Originals and Melting Sadness’ “BEE WITH YOU.”
