Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff Give a Tour of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Mansion
Featuring appearances from the Banks family members.
With The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion now available to rent on Airbnb, Will Smith, DJ Jazzy Jeff and some members of the Banks family took fans on a quick tour of the Brentwood, California home.
The mansion’s main bedroom is reminiscent of the room Will stayed in while sharing the poolhouse with his cousin Carlton and includes a lineup of sneakers Will wore in the series, hats, art pieces, apparel from his Bel-Air Athletics anniversary capsule, the original records created by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and a mini-basketball hoop. They also show off the dining area and backyard pool before Daphne Maxwell Reid (the second actress who portrayed Aunt Viv), Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks), Tatyana M. Ali (Ashley Banks) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey) arrive. The castmates enter the house and check out the foyer and game room, spotting a photo of the late James Avery (Uncle Phil) looking very happy.
Smith listed the Brentwood mansion on Airbnb as part of the beloved show’s 30th-anniversary and is available to Los Angeles County residents for only $30 USD a night beginning September 29. A reunion show featuring the rest of the surviving cast — even Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv who left the series on bad terms, will be joining — is set to premiere on HBO Max around Thanksgiving 2020.
