Influencers Are Renting Studios for Fake Private Jet Selfies
With rates of just $64 USD per hour.

A recent listing on booking platform Peerspace has revealed a handful of studios with staged setups depicting interiors of private jets, revealing some Los Angeles influencers have been posting fake private jet selfies.
One Twitter user discovered some of these rooms offering rates at just $64 USD per hour. “I just found out LA IG girlies are using studio sets that look like private jets for their pics,” says Melissa (@maisonmeIissa). It’s crazy that anything you’re looking at could be fake. The setting, the clothes, the body… IDK it just kinda shakes my reality a bit lol.” Followers of influencers like Kennedy Cymone and Azra Mian were quick to spot some of the fake setups from their posts. Comments like “that ain’t even a real jet. The birds told us,” have since flooded their posts.
In case you missed it, Instagram has set up an equity team to address biases in the app.
