WACKO MARIA Taps 'The Big Lebowski' So You Can Impersonate "The Dude"
Featuring long velvet bathrobes and movie poster graphics.
WACKO MARIA has teamed up with The Big Lebowski for an expansive capsule. This follows a collaboration with sacai from back in December.
The cult Coen Brothers title is being honored with graphics of its official poster and big bathrobes that Jeff Bridges, who plays “the Dude,” wears in the movie. Among the four bathrobes, one features a bold leopard print made from delicate velvet with “THE BIG LEBOWSKI” etched along the upper left chest. Other details like the waist belt and big twin pockets complete the garment. Another highlight is an olive field jacket. It comes with a semi-loose fit, complemented by tonal buttons, two chest pockets, and a large print of the movie poster at the back. The rest of the capsule is made up of T-shirts, long-sleeves, and crewnecks, colored in bright fluorescent tones as well as in black and white.
WACKO MARIA’s The Big Lebowski 2020 capsule will be available on September 19 on the label’s website, ranging from $76 – $572 USD.
