Rich Brian Goes for a Long Drive in "DOA" Music Video
A cut off his latest EP, ‘1999.’
Rich Brian has dropped off an accompanying music video for “DOA,” a cut taken from his latest EP, 1999.
Directed by Mamesjao, the visual sees the 88rising mainstay match the track’s fast-paced energy, zestfully driving a Honda Civic through a number of different environments that range from a bustling city to an empty desert and the cold mountains.
“This project has a song for everyone,” Rich Brian said of 1999. “One of my favorites is “DOA”, which is basically Dead On Arrival for short. It sounds morbid but it’s about competing with someone who has zero chance against you in the first place. The melodies really remind me of Gorillaz, who I love. It’s a song that I always play whenever I wanna feel better about my singing, and myself in general.”
