MYne Enlivens SS21 With Vibrant Splashes of Color
A playful blend of streetwear and classic menswear.
MYne, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro‘s sub-label, has delivered its Spring/Summer 2021 lookbook. The imprint has tweaked an eclectic range of classic menswear silhouettes through a playful lens, imbuing each piece with unconventional cuts and vibrant splashes of color.
Spanning garments like bronze-tinted nylon bomber jackets, oversized suits, western-style jackets, billowing overalls, raw denim, floral-patterned trousers, zip-up hoodies and asymmetrical chore coats, the assemblage consists of an array of styles that subtly blend contemporary streetwear designs with traditional fits.
One noteworthy piece is a short-sleeve button-up that’s emblazoned with a psychedelic print of spiraling neon stripes. The shirt’s semi-loose construction, with its wide lapels and elongated sleeves, accentuates the bold print, while “MYne” branding near the left chest pocket, also appearing on the matching pants, rounds off the vivid look. Other highlights like the orange suit, purple satin cowboy jacket, orange cargo pants, olive track pants and earth-toned parka finish off the expansive range.
