Canada is Finally Receiving Popeyes' Viral Chicken Sandwich
Better late than never.
Long after Popeyes‘ Chicken Sandwich was released in the United States, Canada is now set to finally receive the viral menu option.
Taking to Instagram, the Louisiana style fried chicken chain simply announced the upcoming arrival of the sandwich in The Great White North. Popeyes ran a test trial for the product in Edmonton and Southern Ontario back in 2019, with wild success as one location saw 1,600 orders in one day. To mark the highly-anticipated release in Canada, Popeyes is holding The List promotion which will offer fans early access to the Chicken Sandwich.
Priced at $5.99-$6.49 CAD province depending, the viral Chicken Sandwich will be available as a permanent menu item at all 230-plus Popeyes locations across Canada September 14.
