Cartier Reintroduces the Pasha de Cartier
Arriving in yellow, white and pink gold.
Cartier is bringing back a status symbol of the ‘80s with its relaunch of the Pasha de Cartier watch. The timepiece originally debuted in 1985 and became an instant hit amongst achievers, seen on the likes of sports stars and celebrities. Now considered a classic, the 2020 version of the Pasha will continue the model’s legacy, appealing to a new generation of wearers who value self-expression, collaboration, diversity, open-mindedness and positivity.
The reimagined unisex watch will be available in 35mm and 41mm sizes with stainless steel, coming along in 18k yellow gold, 18k pink gold and 18k white gold. Each iteration will show off the Cartier Manufacture 1847 MC self-winding caliber, which provides 40 hours of power reserve and the classic chained crown, now paired with a winding crown. While the design, notable for its round case and elegant face and numerals, remains true to its original, subtle updates like Cartier’s QuickSwitch quick strap release system and its SmartLink quick bracelet sizing systems help to usher the Pasha into a new era.
The Pasha de Cartier timepieces release September 4 on Cartier’s website, with 18k yellow gold priced at $16,600 USD, 18k pink gold at $38,500 USD and 18k white gold at $25,300 USD.
