adidas has returned to the adizero adios Pro silhouette — the brand’s “fastest ever running shoe” — for an eye-catching new colorway. Following on from the first design of the sneaker in “Signal White/Coral,” the sneaker is now dressed in a “Dream Mile” colorway of pink and blue hues.

The concept of “Dream Mile” takes its name from the two different versions of yourself needed to train to reach your fastest ever miles. The bright pink color represents the need to push yourself as hard as you can, while the notes of blue on the shoe are a nod to the need for maintaining focus throughout training.

As well as the new colorway, the sneaker features the same adizero adios Pro technical innovations that were developed through consultations with athletes including Joyciline Jepkosgei and Rhonex Kipruto. Key features include carbon-infused rods to maintain speed for longer and super-light cushioned LightstrikePRO midsole to guarantee explosive movement and long-lasting speed.

The “Dream Mile” colorway of the adidas adizero adios Pro is due to release on September 14 via the adidas web store and at select stockists.

In other footwear news, adidas Originals has a LEGO collaboration on the way.
