No Vacancy Inn isn’t a clothing label. The creative platform, led by founders Tremaine Emory and Ade ‘Acyde’ Odunlami (and recent addition Brock Korsan), works in everything from DJing to art direction to hosting parties; that doesn’t mean that it wholly strays from garment design, though. It’s partnered with Stüssy for a sophisticated selection of collaborative wearables that channel disparate influences into “an unfussy, authentic modern wardrobe,” explains the press release.

Citing influence from Weekend at Bernies, Hunter S. Thompson’s The Fight and John Lennon’s “Lost Weekend,” the duo have realized a capsule indebted to the effortless style of decades past. This approachable selection comprises a wide-wale corduroy suit, coat, tie-dyed sweater, graphic tee, branded sweatsuits and tote, most laden with stylized No Vacancy Inn branding. The collective’s worldly ethos is key, as it inspires both the capsule’s practicality (the long coat is packable) and retro influence, reflected in the timeless cool of a double-breasted, peak lapel blazer.

No Vacancy Inn’s collaborative capsule launches September 25 on Stüssy’s website and global outposts.

Reportedly, there are more high-profile Stüssy collaborations on the way, including a Virgil Abloh partnership.
