Michael B. Jordan Partners with GOAT For Charity-Focused Custom Sneaker Raffle
All proceeds will support GirlTrek, the US’s largest public health nonprofit for African-American women and girls.

Michael B. Jordan and GOAT have teamed up for a charity-focused custom sneaker raffle in support of GirlTrek, the US’s largest public health nonprofit for African-American women and girls. Featuring five Shoe Surgeon-created custom Jordan Brand, Nike and Converse shoes that represent Jordan’s five favorite movies — Coming to America, Casino, The Last Dragon, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Sandlot — the collection provides clever nods to each film with exquisite details and bright colors.
First up is an Air Jordan 4 for Coming to America, with a mixture of animal print, regal tones and patriotic stars-and-stripes branding, ideal for Eddie Murphy‘s Prince Akeem. Next, Casino‘s high-rolling Air Jordan 1 presents pebbled pink leather, green felt Swooshes inspired by gaming tables, a play card print around the tongue and hand-distressed points around the heel. The Last Dragon‘s entry into the pack is an Air Force 1 with a kung-fu friendly mix of black and yellow inspired by Leroy Green’s jumpsuit — plus a daring dragon Swoosh. The Nightmare Before Christmas is represented by an Air Trainer Max ‘91 with a holiday hodgepodge of materials and colors that pull from Jack Skellington’s suit and the film’s memorable color palette. Last but not least is a summer-ready Chuck 70 Hi for The Sandlot, full of light-hearted vibes thanks to a torn denim upper with a baseball print underneath.
“I’ve loved sneakers since I was a kid and there are so many people in the sneaker community that inspire me” says Michael B. Jordan. “Coming up at a time where I couldn’t afford all these kicks, I would use my imagination to think about what my sneaker would look like if I had a chance to build it. Knowing that designing a pair of kicks has always been something I wanted to do, my best friend Sterling Brim introduced me to the Shoe Surgeon who provided me with an opportunity to combine my passion for sneakers and film and design some incredible sneakers inspired by some of my favorite movies. I’m excited to partner with GOAT to showcase my custom kicks to a community that loves sneakers as much as I do. More importantly, I’m excited to help bring awareness to the health movement amongst African-American women, a cause that’s close to me and my family.”
Raffle tickets for all five shoes can be purchased now via the GOAT webstore and GOAT app. The raffle will run until 11:59 PM P.T. on September 27, and winners will be announced on September 28.
