Jordan Brand's Holiday 2020 "Modern" Collection Introduces the Spiz'ike 270 Boot

Jordan Brand has debuted its Holiday 2020 “Modern” collection — not to be confused with the forthcoming Holiday 2020 Air Jordan Retro lineup — centered around the new Spiz’ike 270 Boot and featuring fresh takes on the Delta and Zoom 92. Offering both men’s and women’s styles, the collection may be modern in name and technology, but also taps into Jordan Brand’s deep reservoir of classic silhouettes and cultural cachet.

Stomping onto the scene as the “Modern” collection’s centerpiece is the Spiz’ike 270 Boot. A beefed-up version of the classic Spiz’ike, the Spiz’ike 270 Boot contrasts its recognizable upper with a bolstered mudguard, Mars 270-style midsole with an Air Max 270 cushioning unit and a boot-style outsole with extra-deep tread to combat inclement weather. A duo of construction-boot style tan makeups will release alongside a gray pair with Nike ACG-inspired neon accents and an all-black makeup.

Next up is the Delta. Two men’s styles and two women’s styles are present — the former duo draws from both Nike ACG product and Jordan Brand’s iconic “Infrared” color scheme, while the latter pair uses a cool “Guava Ice” scheme and a “Hyper Royal/Bright Crimson” mix above a sail base. Last but not least is the Zoom 92. Supplied in a whopping six colorways — three for men, three for women — most offer traditional mixes of black and red with varying pops of color, but one women’s makeup is a direct tribute to the beloved Air Max 180 “Ultramarine.”

The Jordan Brand Holiday 2020 “Modern” collection will begin rolling out this fall and winter on the Nike webstore. A price for the Spiz’ike 270 Boot has yet to be announced, but the Deltas will retail at $130 USD and the Zoom 92s at $150 USD.
