GoPro Hero 9 Black Leaks Suggest Front-Facing Color Display

According to new leaks unveiled by tech website WinFuture, GoPro‘s upcoming Hero 9 Black action camera will finally tap into the vlogging crowd by adding a new colored display on the front side of the device, replacing the previously monochrome display that only showed menu settings and data. While there’s no additional information regarding the screen’s functionality, it’s safe to assume it can provide a live view for those shooting videos.
In addition the to front-facing colored screen, the leaks also suggest that the 9th edition of the Hero will be equipped with 5K video recording capabilities in the future, and also carry a fold-out mounting arm on the bottom so you can mount the action cam without any additional housing.
As these are just leaks so far and other technical and performance details for the new GoPro Hero 9 Black has yet to be announced, those looking forward to the action cam should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
