DJ Khaled and Drake Enlist Justin Bieber For "POPSTAR" Music Video
Drizzy calls Biebs for a favor.
Thanks to the travel restrictions brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic, artists have had to get creative with their music videos as of late. For their “POPSTAR” visual, DJ Khaled and Drake took things one step further by enlisting the help of Justin Bieber.
The playful music video starts off with a compilation of clips showing Khaled hounding Drake to film the visual for “POPSTAR,” cutting to the distraught Canadian artist reacting to the barrage. Speaking to OVO Chubbs, his head of security, Drake notes how the one thing he can do is call in a favor.
Moving into Justin Bieber assuming a “POPSTAR” persona walking through his home after what looks to have been a wild party with a cameo from Scooter Braun. The famed manager pushes Biebs to prepare for a music video shoot before another night of partying begins. The visual ends with Bieber waking up beside his wife Hailey Baldwin after a crazy dream, but while out on their morning dog walk a call from Drake comes through.
