Season Two of 'The Boys' Is Out Now
Releasing one day early on Amazon Prime Video.
Originally slated for release on September 4, Amazon has now released season two of The Boys a day earlier, giving fans something to binge-watch over the coming weekend. While new episodes are scheduled to drop every Friday, the streaming platform has uploaded the first three episodes all at once, so you can now head over and stream The Big Ride, Proper Preparation and Planning, as well as Over the Hill With the Swords of a Thousand Men. The show picks up from the massive cliffhanger at the end of the first season, and will see The Boys running from the law and the Supes, trying to regroup in an effort to push back against Vought.
Speaking in an interview earlier, Jack Quaid said that character development has become the focus of the new season.”I think we’ve gotten way deeper with every single character on the show,” the actor said. ”It’s bigger, but it’s a lot deeper with everyone. And I think that’s what’s important about Season Two is not that you just go bigger and have more fights — which we totally have — but that you really delve into the characters and understand what makes them tick. And I know from Hughie’s perspective, we get into a lot of that. So yeah. I’m just really excited for people to see Season two. I think it’s even better than Season one, in my opinion.”
