UNITED ARROWS and New Balance's 1700 Takes On Rich "Dark Gray" Suede
A muted colorway for the timeless silhouette.

UNITED ARROWS has teamed up with New Balance for an understated take on the 1700 model. Following their previous 30th-anniversary M1500 collaboration, the two labels have chosen a chunkier silhouette this time, imbued with a more minimal, monochromatic colorway — “Dark Gray.”
Starting at the top of the shoe is embroidered “1700” branding, complemented by black laces and a silver-toned “NB” deubré. While most of the uppers have been constructed in lush pigskin suede, subtle full-grain leather panels also appear throughout the shoe’s body — at the topmost eyelet and around the throatline. An embroidered “N” logo is placed at the sidewalls, complemented by “1700” at the rear quarter and 3M detailing at the heel and midsection. All of these features sit atop a clean white ABZORB-cushioned midsole, underscored by a thin black outsole to complete the shoe’s monochromatic design.
UNITED ARROWS and New Balance’s 1700 “Dark Gray” is currently available for pre-order on UNITED ARROWS’ website for $192 USD.
