The Weeknd Teases New Song During TikTok AR Livestream
Doja Cat also made an appearance to perform “In Your Eyes (Remix).”
TikTok held its “first-ever in-app cross reality experience” with The Weeknd, and the After Hours artist delivered a 20-minute performance filled with wonky visuals and a teaser of a new song.
Fans watching the performance shared what The Weeknd’s setlist was going to be, and it ended up consisting of the Black Panther cut “Pray for Me,” followed by a 30-second preview of the untitled song then “Blinding Lights.” Doja Cat, her avatar dressed in a cat costume, then joined him for the “In Your Eyes (Remix)” and the performance was closed it out with “Save Your Tears.”
There’s no news of what the teased song is called or when it’s going to be released, but The Weeknd did recently drop off his collab with the late Juice WRLD entitled “Smile.”
