Nike Offline Encourages You To "Just Do Nothing"

“Just Do It” may be at the very core of Nike‘s brand ethos, but now the Swoosh is encouraging you to dial it down a notch with the new Offline mule. The first piece of Nike footwear specifically crafted for literally doing nothing, the Offline was birthed from Nike Sportswear‘s N. 354 sub-label and is all about casual comfort.

Front and center are the interchangeable foam footbeds. Dubbed “sensory-drop in midsoles,” each serves a different purpose: Sensation 001 uses strategically placed nubs for a massage-like experience, while Sensation 002 adds nubs in much greater quantities and was made for prolonged wear over the course of an active day.

Tongues make sure the top half is just as plush as the midsole with ultra-thick exposed foam cushioning. The rest of the upper is composed fully of synthetics and equips a strap for an adjustable fit. Down below, beefy EVA foam midsoles round off the look. A duo of launch colorways are present — sleek grey with volt embellishments and stark black with vivid pops of jade.

The Nike Offline will release on August 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. A MSRP has yet to be announced.
