Nike Reconstructs Daybreak Type N. 354 With Repurposed Material
Dubbed “Lost & Found.”
Nike has reworked its popular Daybreak Type N. 354 silhouette. Following its “Cactus Flower” and “Black/Barely Volt” seen back in May, the American footwear giant has tweaked the silhouette with a boisterous “Lost & Found” colorway, reconstructed in an intricate patchwork arrangement of recycled materials.
The shoe comes with a retro-inspired tongue with partially exposed foam. An orange pull tab is woven at the top of the right foot, while the left foot comes with a small patch that reads “If found, please return to,” followed by an underscore where the owner is meant to write in his/her name or information. Lightly faded strips of denim appear along the eyelets, complemented by blue stripes on a small panel hanging near the lower forefoot. A yellow checker print is placed at the heel counter, followed by a blue rear quarter, white mesh uppers, a yellow Swoosh with red top-stitching and a yellow suede toecap. All of these details rest over a crisp white midsole that’s been equipped with thin gray treading for added traction.
Nike’s Daybreak Type N. 354 “Lost & Found” will be available on August 15 on Nike South Korea’s website — prices have yet to be confirmed.
