Benny Gold Is Raffling Off His Entire Sneaker Collection
Everything from the entire HUF x Nike “Hufquake” collection to the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon.”
After officially retiring his eponymous brand in 2019, San Fransisco-based designer and influential streetwear OG Benny Gold is stepping further away from “the game” by raffling off his entire sneaker collection. Gold had a hand in many legendary ’00s footwear collaborations, so his collection is full of rare gems and clocks in at over $20,000 USD in value.
As a longtime friend and former employee of fellow San Fransisco OG Keith Hufnagel, Gold had a hand in many of HUF‘s collaborations with Nike Sportswear and Nike SB. Therefore, the raffle includes grails like the HUF x Nike SB Dunk High “Tie-Dye” and the full HUF x Nike “Hufquake” set of Dunks, Air Force 1s and Air Max 1s/Air Max 90s. There’s also other gems like the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon,” the banned adidas x Ray Fong adicolor by Barry McGee and a sample pair of the Vans x Neck Face x The Simpsons Chukka Boot LX.
Entry into the raffle is simple. Each “ticket” is $50 USD, and interested parties can purchase as many tickets as they choose. Money can be sent either by Venmo or PayPal — full detailed instructions and a list of shoes can be seen in the Instagram post below — and the raffle will end “once the reserve is met,” in Gold’s own words.
