BAPE Pays Homage to Marilyn Monroe With Collaborative Collection
Featuring exclusive images from the Marilyn Monroe Estate.
A BATHING APE is honoring celebrated icon Marilyn Monroe with a new T-shirt collection.
Comprised of six styles, the capsule utilizes glamorous and beautiful photographs that have been curated from the owner of the Marilyn Monroe Estate, the Authentic Brand Group. Each piece fuses an exclusive image of the Hollywood star with BAPE’s signature motifs, including an APE HEAD graphic crafted with a collage of monochromatic photos, a black-and-white image laid over with BAPE’s pink camouflage and another highlighted by the BAPE camouflage backdrop.
The Marilyn Monroe x BAPE collection is priced at $800 HKD (approximately $105 USD) each and will be available at the BAPE STORE HONG KONG and other flagships starting August 29.
