Joji and Diplo Help Direct a Music Video With Senior Citizens in "Daylight"
A new single from the 88rising staple’s upcoming album ‘Nectar.’
Joji and Diplo have released an accompanying music video for their collab “Daylight,” set to appear on the 88rising staple’s upcoming sophomore album, Nectar.
The visual sees the pair working on a music video for a boy band comprised of seniors, with one of the members looking almost like he’s director Taika Waititi. The two are able to do their jobs right but still choose to wreak a little bit of havoc on set, stealing drinks from the props table and throwing a water bottle at the director. Eventually, they decide to grab some clothing off the rack and disrupt the shoot fully before getting kicked out. The music video ends with Joji camping out in a desert alongside some machine, possibly acting as the followup to “Gimme Love.”

In other new music releases, The Weeknd dropped the posthumous Juice WRLD collab, “Smile.”
