The Berrics Spotlights Heimana Reynolds for #DreamTrick
The Team U.S.A. rider attempts a Kickflip Eggplant.
The Berrics has shined the spotlight on Team U.S.A. rider Heimana Reynolds as part of its #DreamTrick series, a compilation of skaters attempting to land some of what they personally find to be the most challenging skateboard tricks.
Running at a little under the three-minute mark, the video cuts right to the chase, opening with Reynolds saying, “I’ll try a Kickflip Eggplant on this extension wall right here” as he points to the wall behind Yoon Sul. Before he begins, Reynolds explains how he broke his fourth and fifth metatarsals the last time he tried the trick. But sure enough, Reynolds lands it after several attempts. Towards the end, both Reynolds and Sul agree that landing the trick was “redemption” as the video closes with a replay of the final highlight.
