Ronnie Fieg Teases New ASICS GEL-LYTE III Collab
Dubbed “252.1.”
Ronnie Fieg has just teased another upcoming collaboration. After just unveiling a project with Looney Tunes, the KITH-founder took to Instagram to show a glimpse of a brightly colored pair of ASICS.
The post shows Fieg examining a pair of GEL-LYTE IIIs with the caption “252.1.” It’s a nod to the throwback “252” pack, a set of three bright colorways that launched at New York’s David Z 13 years ago. Only a portion of the shoe’s side profile is revealed, but it’s still enough to see that the design of the past colorway has been updated with new colors and materials. The shoe features suede around the toebox, as opposed to the original model’s neoprene fabric, and black upper quarters that have been given a slight fade. Other details like contrasting gold side stripes and a thin blue outsole round off the design.
