Shamir Gives Hauntingly Beautiful Performance in "I Wonder" Music Video
Part of the artist’s upcoming self-titled album.
Shamir has dropped his newest video for the song “I Wonder” which is part of the artist’s upcoming self-titled album. The visual is an ethereal view of the 25-year-old singer as a moving self portrait while performing the track. Reflections of Shamir start to appear alongside him and the clone-like versions of the musician sing themselves.
The vid is hauntingly beautiful and Shamir gives a cathartic performance. The song starts off with the lyrics, “And soon I’ll be the neon shining moon, And I’ll break you up just like the stars, I’ll be the earth with the disease, And you the human inside of me.” The video is directed and edited by Shamir Bailey himself.
