When Allen Iverson first set foot on NBA courts as a brash, talented rookie with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1996 his footwear was just as scintillating as his play thanks to his signature Reebok Question. Now, in an early celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Question Mid is back in an original “White/Red” colorway. There’s even a true ‘96 Reebok detail present: suede toes, an alternate piece of flair that was only present on the Question’s first 5,000 pairs before the rest switched to leather.

Apart from this original toebox, the rest of the build is the Question that Iverson’s legions of loyal fans know and love. Uppers are crafted from tumbled white leather, with red Reebok Vector logos on quarter and tongue alike rimmed in blue. Heels feature another dash of red with a signature Question logo, and red eyestays are split between “Reebok” spellouts on the lateral side and more Vectors on the medial side. Laces feature flecks of blue for further contrast, and down below white midsoles house red DMX cushioning units. Icy blue outsoles round off the look.

This suede toe-equipped Question Mid will release via the Reebok webstore and retailers like Foot Locker on August 21. The MSRP is set at $140 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of hoop shoes, Nike Basketball‘s high-tech Adapt BB 2.0 is going back to the future with a new “MAG” colorway.
