The Pokémon Company and American artist Daniel Arsham announce new dates for their collaborative exhibition “Relics of Kanto Through Time.” The highly anticipated event will now be held from August 1 at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, located on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo.

As part of Pokémon’s first collaboration with a contemporary artist, a range of collaborative T-shirts with Uniqlo UT were also released in April, supported by an exhibition at NANZUKA, Shibuya Tokyo in June.

For the “Relics of Kanto Through Time” exhibition, Daniel Arsham imagines the unearthing of Pokémon a thousand years from now, tapping into the artist’s uchronic aesthetic of fictional archaeology.  The forthcoming presentation features new cast sculptures of Pokémon, a 2-meter high bronze art piece titled “Monuments of Kanto” will also be displayed at Shibuya PARCO’s outdoor space.

Fans can indulge in a variety of collaborative merch at the event, from posters to tote bags, all offering designs of the sculptures. Visitors can also get their hands on a limited-edition “Crystalized Pikachu” by participating in a lottery sale.

For more information head over to PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO’s official website. The exhibition requires reservations in advance, so apply from here before visiting.
