PUMA Celebrates Culture With New Manchester City 2020/21 Home Kit
Inspired by the mosaics of Manchester.
PUMA has unveiled its new Manchester City home strip for the 2020/21 English Premier League season, a design inspired by the city’s DNA and the creativity within it.
Drawing on the recognizable mosaics located in the creative hub of Manchester’s Northern Quarter that date back almost 100 years, the kit resembles an original City mosaic that first adorned the gates of their former stadium, Maine Road. Art, football, music, fashion and color are at the heart of Manchester’s DNA, and the mosaics displayed in the city are a celebration of this and its diverse culture.
This mosaic pattern features on a classic Manchester City blue and white, with navy trim, while the kit is completed with white shorts and light blue socks.
This new Home kit debuted in a recent FA Cup semi-final loss against Arsenal and is available now from both the PUMA and Manchester City web stores.
In other news, Manchester City has also had its two-year European ban lifted by UEFA.
