An Anime-Inspired Wonder Woman Figure is Open for Pre-Orders
Part of Kotobukiya’s Cross Frame Girl series.
While Hot Toys recently brought to life a more realistic replica of Wonder Woman, Japanese toy maker Kotobukiya has now put its own spin on the DC superhero, creating an anime-inspired look as part of its Cross Frame Girl figure series.
The model is based on an original illustration by the beloved artist Fumikane Shimada, and comes highly articulated for any pose you can imagine. Three different face parts allow you to swap out Diana’s expressions to match her stance, while the kit comes with her signature weapons and accessories such as her sword, shield, bracers, and the Lasso of Truth. She’s also geared up in various armor parts, almost giving her a mecha aesthetic. The description says that as part of the Cross Frame Girl series, this Wonder Woman kit is also compatible with the rest of the collection, allowing you to customize and interchange various weapons and parts.
Available now for pre-orders and arriving in February 2021, the Kotobukiya Wonder Woman figure is now retailing for $60 USD over at the Koto website.
Elsewhere in collectibles, LEGO IDEAS has unveiled a 3,662-piece playable grand piano.
