PS3 'Metal Gear Solid V' Players Destroy Every Single Nuke to Trigger Secret Cutscene

A feat most once thought would be impossible.

PlayStation 3 players around the world have come together and finally managed to unlock a secret cutscene in the game Metal Gear Solid V.

To unlock the secret cinematic, players had to destroy every single nuke ever created on a single platform, a feat once believed impossible because any player can create as many nukes as they wished, and so players had to band together to destroy them faster than they were being created. According to a tracking website, roughly 19,000 nukes exist right now for the PC version of the game, while around 2,500 exist for PlayStation 4. Fortunately for PlayStation 3 players, only 43 nukes remained as of July 27, and so the goal — which was ultimately achieved — was within reach.

Despite this great achievement, it’s not the first time the cutscene has been revealed. Earlier in 2018, the cinematic showed up on the PC version of the game by accident, prompting an apology from Konami.

For those who haven’t watched the scene yet, you can check it out above.

Elsewhere in gaming, Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ latest update is bringing back dreaming.
