HODINKEE Crafts an Eight-Day Travel Clock for Jetsetters
Swiss-made with a unique typeface.

Watch and horology experts HODINKEE has crafted a vintage-styled Eight-Day Travel Clock perfect for those constantly on the move, whether you’re a jetsetter with wanderlust or a frequent business traveler.
Inspired by the travel clocks that globetrotters carried around with them in the ’20s and ’30s, this particular creation was designed from the ground up by HODINKEE’s very own team based in New York. Constructed in a robust PVD-coated steel which is then upholstered by hand with goat leather dyed in the brand’s signature shade of grey, the mechanical clock relies on a manually-wound vintage movement — with an eight-day power reserve — built by a small, family-owned, 170-year-old Swiss manufacture named Pontifa, located in Les Ponts-de-Martel, in the canton of Neuchâtel. The size of the clock itself has been designed with portability in mind, fitting perfectly in your palm or when stowed away in your messenger bag or luggage. It even features a completely unique typeface called Decimal, created by world-renowned designer and watch enthusiast Jonathan Hoefler, who was previously featured on Netflix’s Abstract: The Art of Design.
Limited to just 96 pieces, HODINKEE’s Eight-Day Travel Clock is now available over on its website, retailing for $5,900 USD.
