Balenciaga Unveils Redesigned, Ergonomic Speed 2.0 Trainer
Available in four colorways.

Balenciaga‘s Speed Trainer was a huge hit for the luxury fashion label, appearing in dozens of iterations over the course of its four-year-long run, and now the label has introduced the Speed 2.0.
The Balenciaga Speed 2.0 designed by Demna Gvasalia expands on the original design. It still features a 3D-knitted sock upper, a lightweight sole unit, and an overall sleek design, but now comes designed with comfort and agility at the forefront of its aesthetic.
An articulated molded sole lends extra flexibility to the sneaker while maintaining its strength. Whereas the inaugural version featured a one-piece triple-arch sole design, the new pair sports a unit that’s split into five individual segments along the foot, which will help with supporting different areas of the foot.
The Balenciaga Speed 2.0 wraps around the wearer’s foot and ankle completely, and is offered up in four colors: triple black, gray, tan, or a traditional black-and-white pair.
Take a look at the Balenciaga Speed 2.0 in the gallery above. Pairs can be bought from Balenciaga’s website now and in stores around the world. Pricing ranges from $825 USD to $895 USD depending on the colorway.
