New York City’s Alife and adidas Originals have reunited for two collaborative takes on the Nizza Hi. Following a club-inspired style that released in May 2019 and an “Artist Proof” makeup from June 2019, this dashing duo marks the third and fourth Alife x adidas Nizzas to release in just over a year.

Both pairs feature uppers built from canvas and dressed in monochromatic yellow or black. Signature detail is provided by a rubberized logo badge that rises up from each midsole and takes residence on the lateral midfoot. This centerpiece is stamped with a black Alife text graphic and works in tandem with the script-equipped shoelaces to handle a lion’s share of the shoe’s branded flair. Classic Trefoils appear on the tongue, laces are held secure by silver eyestays, and the Three Stripe graphic is denominated by stitched outlines. Raised rubber toe caps read “1999” — the year Alife was founded — and “2020.” Moving to the lower half, sail midsoles and outsoles finalize the look.

The Alife x adidas Nizza Hi in black and yellow will release at the atmos webstore on July 17. The MSRP is set at ¥12,000 JPY (approximately $112 USD).
