Rising California-based rapper Spank Nitti James enlisted Freddie Gibbs for his latest track, “Disappear.” Releasing an accompanying music video, the two rappers can be seen circling a dusty landscape not so far from a residential community. Nitti James kicks off the three-minute track and Gibbs closes it out, both retelling stories of crime and their desire to get out of that cycle, calling on God to transform to birds. “Dear God, make me a bird/So I can fly far/Far far away from here,” Nitti James raps while Gibbs spits, “Dear God, make me a bird/So I can get a rental/Hit the interstate and swerve.”
