Solebox and adidas Consortium Serve Up Torsion TRDC "Scallop"
With a crisp color scheme inspired by the delectable ocean delicacy.
Solebox and adidas Consortium have teamed up once again, this time for a Torsion TRDC “Scallop.” Retailer and footwear brand have a long collaborative history with several standout products that range from a sleek UltraBOOST Uncaged to a sporty Yung-1, but the “Scallop” is a seafaring style, inspired by a delectable nautical delicacy.

Dressed in white, soft pastel orange and bright neon yellow, the shoe’s trifecta of colors represents a scallop’s shell, its soft innards and the lemons it’s often served with. White is the most prominent of the three colors, swathed over the leather and mesh upper and accented by dollops of grey suede on select overlays. Orange is relegated to the outsole and heel, while lemony yellow accents grace the technical Three Stripe graphic on the midfoot and are scattered around the heel clip as well.
Special Solebox branding graces the medial side of each shoe, and replaces the standard black adidas hits on the tongue and insole of the right foot. Hi-vis reflective details offer a further nod to the mollusk’s shimmering shell, and an adiPRENE midsole offers potent comfort.
The Solebox x adidas Consortium TRDC “Scallop” will release at Solebox on July 7, and is priced at $140 USD.
