Nike's Air Max 97 G Lands in Clean Monochromatic Colorway
Made for the course.
Nike has unveiled a brand new iteration of the Air Max 97 G. Following its crisp “Triple White” rendition seen back in May, the American footwear giant has opted for a monochromatic version of the course-ready sneakers this time around.
Starting at the top of the silhouette is a woven “Nike” logo placed over a breathable mesh tongue. Much of upper has been rendered in black in a mix of different materials for textural contrast. Smooth nylon piping appears along the topmost webs of the shoe, followed by full-grain leather panels near the bottom. Furthermore, an embroidered white Swoosh is placed at the sidewalls, matching the shade of the clean midsole below. Rounding up the design is a highly treaded outsole, accompanied by a clear Air sole unit, for optimal grip and cushioning on the golf course.
The Nike Air Max 97 G “Black/White” is currently available on Nike’s website for $180 USD.
In case you missed it, Nike’s AF1-Type has been given a sweet summertime “Melon Tint” makeover.
