After 30 Years, Namco Bandai is Releasing a New Version of 'Gator-Panic'
An arcade classic.

For arcade fanatics, Namco Bandai is now set to give its Gator-Panic game an update after 30 years.
Remarkably standing as a staple in Japanese game centers after three decades, the horizontal alligator version of Whac-A-Mole originally released in 1989 will be modernized with a new version. It is interesting to note that the Whac-A-Mole game was actually invented in Japan and was officially licensed to Bandai back in 1977.
According to reports, the update will be called Gator-Panic R and will see each cabinet fitted with a liquid crystal display with two hammers. Although much of the game will remain the same, the additional hammer means that co-op and versus play will be included in the new version.
In case you missed it, Riot Games recently announced the Valorant Ignition Series global eSports tournament.
