KAPITAL Drops Cotton Alpine and Gable See-Through Socks
Embellished with boldly stylized motifs.
KAPITAL has delivered an ecletic set of accessories from its Spring/Summer 2020 lineup. Following its lightweight Transcription Boro bags from last month, the Japanese label has opted for finely textured socks this time around — Cotton Alpine and Gable See-Through socks.
The former style comes in bold colorways of olive, white and black, embellished with rugged militaristic details. Each pair sports a snap button pocket at the tube collars, stamped with contrasting mil-spec-inspired lettering — a similar motif is placed at the bottom feet. The Gable See-Through socks come with a delicate semi-transparent finish that’s constructed from a highly breathable mesh fabric. Colored in “Mint,” “Saxophone” and “Black,” the socks boast intricately woven motifs throughout their entirety, patterns inspired by Gabbehs, traditional hand-made carpets often made by nomads from the southwestern Zagros Mountains of Iran.
KAPITAL’s Cotton Alpine and Gable See-Through socks are currently available on the label’s website for $73 USD and $30 USD, respectively.
