Ja Rule Unexpectedly Appears in Commercial for Local Greek Deli
Showing how he pronounces oktapodakia, avgolemono soup and kreatopita.
Following his involvement with the fiasco that was Fyre Festival, Ja Rule has now returned in a very unlikely place, a commercial for a local Greek Deli.
Aside from offering “safe personal performances,” it looks as though the rapper who saw the height of his fame in the early 2000s is now trying his hand at commercial acting.
Local staple Papa Cristo’s Greek Grill located on 2771 West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles recently got Ja Rule for its latest playful ad. Clearly filmed using a green screen, Ja is inserted into various scenes while noting that the restaurant has the “best motherf*cking gyros,” expressing his love for pitas and showing how he pronounces oktapodakia, avgolemono soup and kreatopita. To end the unexpected ad, Ja Rule offers his take on a traditional Greek dance and his best “opa!”
